Lothar Hausmann is a graduated journalist and founding member of Whistleblower-Netzwerk e.V. Until 2018 he managed Medienhaus Dortmund as an Executive Editor for 20 years.
Through his activity as an editor and freelance author for the radio, magazines, and newspapers he got into contact with whistleblowers early on, who gave him valuable suggestions for topics and enabled him to carry out a lot of research and investigation. This is why, as a member of DJV and network recherche, he has been committing himself not only for better protection of sources and whistleblowers, but has also and specifically committed himself to the protection of whistleblowers in his lectures and contributions.
