In diesem Jahr wird das britische Whistleblower-Schutzgesetz „public interest disclosure act“ 10 Jahre alt. Hierzu führt die Universität Middlesex eine internationale Konferenz durch, auf die wir hier gerne hinweisen:
Ten years of public interest disclosure legislation in the UK: what can we learn from experiences at home and abroad?
Middlesex University is hosting a two -day international conference in London on 18 & 19th June 2009 to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the UK Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 coming into effect.
The conference will assess how this whistleblowing measure has operated in practice and will compare the UK situation with that in a number of other countries. Speakers will consider the position in North America, Australasia, Continental Europe and other parts of the world and will discuss the principles upon which future legislation might be based. Contributors will include not only academics but also practitioners and members of the judiciary. Another important aim is to evaluate research findings and to consider an agenda for future empirical work.
