
Expert and Head of Department for Individual Labour Law

Since 2013, the lawyer with a doctor’s degree has been the Head of the Department for Individual Labour Law and related fields in the Legal Division of the DGB (German Trade Union Confederation), Federal Executive Board, and responsible for questions regarding the legal arrangement of the protection of whistleblowers in an employment relationship.
After studying law in Poznań, Poland, and in Göttingen, she obtained her doctorate at the European Research Training Group of DFG (German Research Foundation) in Heidelberg and Mainz on the harmonisation of labour law in Europe. Scientific collaboration in labour law at the University of Göttingen and research at the University of Oldenburg, freelance collaboration in a labour law firm in Berlin, basic experience in building up and maintaining a counselling office for foreign employees in Berlin.
Honorary Judge at the Federal Labour Court, member of the association committee of the German Association of Labour Courts.
